The story of Whisky & Rum Company

Every drop of great whisky holds not only carefully selected ingredients and years of maturation, but above all the passion of those who create it. That passion gave rise to Whisky & Rum Company — a brand focused on producing exclusively Czech whisky: authentic, honest, and always in limited editions.

The power of craft and collaboration

From the very start we knew we wanted to create whisky with character — one that reflects traditional methods as well as the uniqueness of Czech ingredients. That’s why we joined forces with a true master of the craft, master distiller Ján Balog, whose experience is an invaluable part of our story.

Before bottling, Ján carefully fine‑tunes every edition so it is perfectly harmonious — no compromises, just a clean and full flavour, exactly as it should be.

Working with Czech breweries and distilleries

Our whisky is created in close cooperation with a small brewery and distillery near Dolní Bousov. We use high‑quality Czech malt and the craftsmanship of people who have worked with distillation and cask ageing for generations.

Every cask shapes maturation differently. Combined with different malts and distillation styles, this allows us to introduce one or two new editions each year — each with its own story.

Our goal is not mass production, but whisky made with respect for ingredients, craftsmanship and time. We experiment with various cask types, track how aroma and flavour evolve, and fine‑tune every detail.

The result is limited Czech whisky — authentic, full of character, and reflecting the spirit of honest craft.
